There are 15 weeks remaining from 11th April until 18th July (the beginning of the summer holidays break).
Starting immediately with an average of one game per week, each individual has the opportunity to play a MAXIMUM total of 15 Ladder games over the entire period. This limit applies regardless of whether a person attends every session or not, maintaining fairness and equal chances for all players throughout the duration.

Players are awarded 3 points for securing a win, 2 points if the match ends in a draw, and even 1 point if they suffer a loss. This scoring system ensures that every team gains some recognition for their effort, regardless of the outcome.

Before the game begins, both players must agree on whether the match will be considered a Ladder game. This agreement must be clearly established before colours are decided and prior to the start of play to ensure that both participants are aware of the stakes and rules involved.
The use of clocks during the game is optional; however, if players decide to incorporate timing devices, each player must be allocated a minimum of 10 minutes on their clock to complete their moves.
All results must be reported back to Graham.

There are three Ladder Groups, which are categorised as Advanced, Intermediates, and Beginners, each designed to accommodate different skill levels and experience.
These initial pairings are carefully based on previous results as well as anticipated appearances. If any juniors or parents disagree with these selections please let me know.
