On a very warm and bright sunny Saturday morning, we were delighted to have 18 enthusiastic juniors who were eager and excited to learn new strategies and play engaging games of chess.

With invaluable assistance from Jon Catchpole and John Heath, chess instruction was provided across all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players. Their guidance ensured that a wide range of participants could learn the game effectively. Additionally, several challenging and competitive games were played, creating an engaging and stimulating environment for everyone involved.
