This new club starts on Saturday 11th January 2025 at the Ferndown Library from 10am until 12 noon
Two ONE HOUR sessions, 10am to 11am (max of 1 hour*) and 11am until noon.
We have the use of a private room upstairs, the intention is that it will continue every Saturday morning, except during holiday times and depending on attendance.
We welcome children between the ages of 6 to 14 yrs who want to learn and play chess, catering for:-
- Absolute beginners
- People who have basic knowledge
- Those who know the rules and want to progress to become a better player.
All equipment is supplied and the lessons are free of charge.
Free parking is available in the Tesco’s carpark and on a Saturday, in the carpark behind the library a short distance away.
